Following a decades-long relationship with Ibanez, legendary jazz guitarist, George Benson presents a souped-up edition of his Signature semi-acoustic. The body of the GB10SEFM is slightly smaller than Benson's LG series model, elevating playability and comfort even further, while a set of floating pickups help eliminate feedback and ensure sumptuously warm sound. The Ibanez GB10SEFM has been dipped in a Sapphire Red paint job and comes complete with a deluxe, form-fitting case.

Driving Tone

Since semi-acoustic guitars are notorious for on-stage feedback (whether you want it or not) Ibanez have eased the issue by securing a pair of GB Special mini-humbuckers to the tortoise pickguard. This way, the pickups literally float above the body, which doesn't just help eliminate feedback but delivers a quality of tone worthy of George Benson himself. Customise the output at will using the provided set of tone and volume controls per pickup and a three-way selector switch.

No Masquerade

While finished to a deluxe standard, the no-frills build of this model sticks firmly to a tried-and-tested approach. The GB10 tailpiece and floating ebony bridge ensure optimal string tension and combine with the exclusively designed half-bone/half-brass nut to ensure excellent sustain. Meanwhile, the maple body has been topped with resonant spruce and the maple neck has been fitted with an ebony fretboard polished off with acrylic and abalone position blocks, completing an honest model built for honest work.
