If you're a fan of master guitarist George Benson, or if you just want a special jazz guitar with an attractive price tag, then the Ibanez GB40THII Artstar Antique Amber Limited Edition electric hollow-body is sure to please! This solid-top semi-acoustic is a guitar advanced jazz/classical musicians can appreciate. The two GB Special mini humbucker pickups, in combination with the tried-and-trusted controls, deliver a traditional, warm amplified sound, which is enhanced by the wood types used and the tone of the flatwound strings. The sound of this Artstar is best described as woody and organic thanks to the use of spruce, maple, and ebony. This is a special 40th anniversary edition that's embellished with custom artwork on the tailpiece, inlay work on the headstock, and a chic ebony fretboard. Last but not least, the brass and bone string nut detail will surely not escape the scrutiny of any true guitar aficionado!
