General
The legend that is the 6120 Nashville Hollow Body is maybe the most-heard and most-played guitar in all of music history. It's also seen as the ultimate Gretsch guitar. The Professional Collection Nashville edition of this classic combines all of this rich heritage and timeless Gretsch-grade sound with a few modern features designed to take the playability to an even higher level. As such, the edges of the ebony fretboard have been smoothly rounded off and a handy set of Luminlay side-dots now line the side of the neck, while the Adjusto-O-Matic bridge has been given a stable and resonant string-through-body setup and comes teamed up with a Bigsby B6GP tailpiece for some tasteful vibrato. The Gretsch 6120 Nashville Hollow Body electric guitar has been built in Japan and comes complete a deluxe case.
Filter'Tron Pickups
The Nashville has been loaded with a duo of PRO-FT Filter'Tron pickups that deliver that immediately familiar Gretsch character and tone. Filter'Trons blend the clarity, brightness and articulation of a single-coil with the warmth and power of a humbucker, giving this guitar the very best of both worlds and kitting it out for every style going, whether it's rockabilly or country, jazz or rock. The master volume pot is also supported by a treble-bleed circuit that retains the full frequency spectrum, even at lower volume levels, and the tone pot has a no-load design, so when you open it all the way up to 10, the tone pot is removed from the switching circuit and more of the higher frequencies are pulled out.
