The Mapex Mars Birch shell set features a compact, 4-piece bebop configuration that includes a wee, 18 by 14-inch kick drum, plus a 10-inch rack tom, a 14-inch floor tom, and a 14 by 5-inch snare drum. Perfect for setting up in small pubs and clubs, this shell set is no plaything but a serious option for gigging drummers who simply can't or don't want to take up too much space. The 6-ply, 7.2mm-thick birch shells pack surprisingly punchy sound for their size and have been outfitted with SONIClear hoops for consistent tension.
