With its gigantic 26x14-inch bass drum, this PDP Drums PDCC2613 kettle set is a real feast for the eyes! The cool vintage look doesn't mean you're stuck with a vintage sound, though: this kettle set (with 13x9 and 16x16 toms) is made of European maple wood, which has a modern yet timeless sound as its sound characteristic. You can use this kettle set just fine for blues-rock or hard-rock, but with proper tuning it's also really fine for big-band music styles. The 26-inch bass drum will be a real eye-catcher, especially in those big-band settings! The only thing to take into account is that you might have to buy a slightly larger car. The True-Pitch turnbuckles in combination with the tensioning blocks, have longer threads than usual turnbuckles. This allows you to make very accurate and nuanced changes to the tuning of the kettles. This kettle set features an Oxblood Stain finish.
