The Tama Superstar Classic series has the same looks as the very first models ever released. This Tama CL32RZS-GNL Superstar Classic Gloss Natural Blonde 3-piece shellset is no exception and also has that typical vintage look. This is partly because of the retro T-shaped badges that can be seen on the shells, but also because of the classic design of the so-called Low-Mass tension blocks. Thanks to modern techniques, however, the sound is anything but old-fashioned! Modern, chrome-plated hardware has been applied to the maple wood kettles. This makes the sound full and powerful, excellent for any style of music.
Tama CL32RZS-GNL configuration
This 3-piece shell kit consists of a 22 x 14-inch bass drum, a 12 x 8-inch rack tom and a 16 x 16 floor tom. The kit is finished in a cool Gloss Natural Blonde lacquer. The small Low-Mass tension blocks help the kettles resonate as freely as possible. The toms' kettles consist of 6 layers and have a thickness of 5 mm, while the bass drum consists of 8 layers with a thickness of 7 mm. Included are Tama's own Power Craft II drumheads, so you can get started almost immediately.
