While definitely configured for rock and pop, the wide tuning range of this Tama Starclassic Maple three-piece shell set can be tweaked and adapted to support pretty much any genre and playing style. The 22 inch by 14 inch kick drum at the core is supported by a 12 inch by 8 inch hanging tom and a 16 inch by 16 inch floor tom. The kick drum features a 7mm thick, eight-ply maple shell while the toms features a 5mm thick, six-ply maple shell, resulting in solid punch, clear attack and big projection, while the Flat Black finish adds some necessary flair. Add a Tama hardware pack and a matching Starclassic Maple snare and build yourself a flexible and formidable, high-end kit!
