The Tama Starclassic Maple line-up includes some ultra-adaptable drums that can slot seamlessly into any setup and this solid four-piece is no exception. Each drum included in the Tama Starclassic ME42TZS set features a maple shell, supporting solid, punching sound with a prominent attack and massive projection. Expertly finished, these shells also support a wide and flexible tuning range, so just a few tweaks can prep them for any genre in need of a big yet focussed drum sound.

The Tama MR42TZS-BWO Starclassic Maple Shell Set

This pack includes a 22 by 16 inch kick, a 16 by 16 inch floor tom, and two hanging toms sized 10 by 7 inch and 12 by 8 inch. The bass drum features a 7mm-thick 8-ply maple shell, while the toms have 5mm-thick walls made up of six layers of maple. Every shell has been finished in a Blue & White Oyster wrap and the whole set comes polished off with the Star-Cast mounting system, Quick-Lock Tom Brackets and Die-Cast hoops. So the floor tom can resonate freely, Tama also include a set of floating floor tom legs.
