The professional Tama MR42TZUS four-piece shell set boasts the sonic clarity and warmth of maple while the wide tuning range supports everything from rock to fusion. The unique design of each shell features rounded edges, which couples with Tama's just-as-unique mounting system to ensure optimal shell resonance. Rather than shoving a big metal rod through the shell, the Star-Cast mounts are secured to the hoops, leaving the shell untouched and free to move. On top of that, each shell comes pre-fitted with Evans drumheads, wrapped in a Red Oyster Finish and polished off by Smoke Black Nickel hardware.
