Tama TM42RZSS-AMO STAR Maple Atomic Orange 4-Piece Shell Set

General

Taking all of the same craft, the same refinement and the same detailing developed during the design process of the Star Classic Series, Tama presents the incomparable Star TM42RZSS Maple Shell Set. This high-end four-piece features all the familiar tonal warmth of supreme-quality five-ply maple shells, each with an ultra-thin profile of just 5 millimetres. This precision construction results in unparalleled resonance, dynamics, punch, clarity and warmth - everything you could ever want from a set of maple shells. To fully optimise the stability and guarantee accurate tuning, each shell has been finished with 9 millimetre thick Tama Sound Focus Rings, which don't just polish off consistent sound but a super-strong construction.

The Tama TM42RZSS STAR Maple Shell Set

In terms of the sound and tuning range, this Tama Star shell set might be the ultimate all-rounder - able to handle everything from jazz and fusion to rock and metal. This isn't just made possible by the maple build, but the addition of some of the best shell hardware going. The Super Resonant tom mount system ensures minimal vibrational transfer without hindering the resonance, while the Quick Lock Tom Brackets support fast building up and breaking down and the included set of floor tom legs feature hollow rubber feet, which are specialised in dampening vibrations. Add on the die-cast tension hoops, the Hold Tight Washers, the included Remo drumheads and the stage-ready Atomic Orange finish, and you're getting superior build-quality and superior looks alongside superior sound.
