Tama TW42RZS-AMO STAR Walnut Atomic Orange 4-Piece Shell Set

General

Featuring a walnut build plus the reinforced strength and tuning stability of an extra inner layer of cordia wood, the Tama TW42RZS STAR Walnut Shell Set delivers on every level. Beyond that, you're getting the full Tama treatment: a supreme level of detailed, high-precision build quality that continues on from the Starclassic Series. So, the toms feature a high-quality six-ply walnut shell to complete an ultra-thin 6 millimetre profile while the bass drum features a seven-ply shell with an almost-as-thin 7 millimetre profile - all to maximum the resonance. Add on the 9 millimetre thick Tama Sound Focus Rings and you're looking at a super-stable construction.

The Tama TW42RZS STAR Walnut Shell Set

This shell set has been developed for drummers seeking a warmer and more expressive response from their kit, making it a great pick for more nuanced-based drumming like jazz as well as genres that demand more depth, like blues and rock. This isn't just made possible by the walnut build, but the addition of some of the best shell hardware going. The Super Resonant tom mount system ensures minimal vibrational transfer without hindering the resonance, while the Quick Lock Tom Brackets support fast building up and breaking down, and the included set of floor tom legs feature hollow rubber feet, which are specialised in dampening vibrations. Add on the die-cast tension hoops, the Hold Tight Washers, the included Remo drumheads and the stage-ready Atomic Orange finish, and you're getting superior build-quality and superior looks alongside superior sound.
