Blending the clear attack of birch with the round warmth of walnut, this Tama Starclassic shell set includes a 22 inch by 16 inch kick, a 10 inch by 7 inch and 12 inch by 8 inch tom and a 16 inch by 14 inch floor tom, completing the core of a balanced yet versatile kit. The 8mm thick bass drum wall is made up of five layers of birch and two layers of walnut, while the 6mm thick tom walls are made up of fur layers of birch and two layers of walnut. For some stage-worthy flair, each shell also comes finished in a Phantasm Oyster lacquer.

The lacquered finish doesn't just look good, but helps strengthen the build of each shell. To improve resonance, the two hanging toms are suspended via Tama's renowned Star-Cast mounting system, which reduce shell-contact to a minimum, while the tuning and stability of each shell is assured by the chrome-plated hardware and set of Starclassic lugs. To finish, the hanging toms and floor tom come pre-fitted with Die-Cast hoops. Add your preferred snare, hardware pack and cymbals and build a formidable all-rounder of a kit.
