One Control Crocodile Tail Loop Signal Splitter Pedal
So I decided to take the scary leap into true bypass looper/switcher land.
I had no idea what to get... things were either way too expensive or not versatile enough. They I found the the crocodile tail loop.
You can loop a maximum of 10 pedals and also link up you tuner pedal.
You can either run it buffered or non buffered
It has midi functionality sync capabilities. This includes controlling midi functions of pedals that are not in the looper.
It's REALLY REALLY easy to use.
It's pretty simple to set up but you might get a little confused with some of the patching options.
It sounds great... It doesn't hurt your previous tone.
It has 10 banks , each with 7 presets.
You can also run it manually.
I currently only use 8 of the 10 loops. I have my Boss volume > DD500 and one of my Line 6 M5 after the looper... this just works better for me. I like to set foundation tones and build on them spontaneously/ creatively
I'd highly recommend this thing. Really user friendly and very professional design...looks great on your pedal board.
Definitely invest in Lava tightrope kits to wire thus thing up as you'll need a fair few.
Each pedal in your looper needs 2 patch cables (2 cables and 4 plugs)
Just be prepared to make that extra investment... don't cheap out with mismatched bulky patch cables of varying quality... you will definitely be glad you did when you look back in years to come.
