With this DW Drums Design Series Acrylic Snare, you get a powerful, hefty snare drum with a cool transparent look! The shell has a thickness of 5 mm and is made of seamless acrylic and fitted with high-quality chrome-plated DW shell hardware. The snare has a regular diameter of 14 inches, but a hefty depth of a whopping 8 inches! Acrylic kettles are already fairly well known for their punchy sound - imagine what an 8-inch depth does then! The snare has True Pitch tensioning screws, Mini-Turret tensioning blocks and a DW MAG string tensioner. The snare is fitted with Remo drum heads.
