In 1963 Ludwig introduced the Acrolite, a snare drum specifically designed for practising sessions. However, thanks to its amazing sound, it quickly became the first pick of many professional drummers.
Ludwig LM404 14 x 5 inch snare drum SupraPhonic Metal
The 14 x 5-inch Acrolite Metal snare drum is back, and it features the P85 Supra-Phonic snare strainer, 10 lugs and 2.3mm metal hoops. This American-made snare drum has a seamless brushed aluminium shell with a powder coated finish that produces a penetrating yet dry snare sound. The lugs, which have a finish that matches the shell's, enhance this snare's great looks even further.
With its Black Galaxy finish, classic lugs, unique black-and-white Ludwig badge and, of course, its fantastic sound, you'll be getting your hands on a legendary high-quality snare drum.
