General
Back in 1963, Ludwig introduced the very first run of Acrolite Series snare drums. Originally aimed at beginners, professional drummers fell in love with the distinctive dry, sharp punch this snare produced. The 14" x 6.5" Ludwig LM405C Acrolite snare is a homage to the original and bears the same distinct sound as its ancestor. This version is made of seamless brushed aluminium for a mat finish.

Excellent Aluminium snare drum. The Acrolite was originally aimed as a student snare drum. Pro drummers soon realised this was a top notch snare. Essentially this is the Supraphonic(LM402) without the chrome finish. It comes fitted with bow tie lugs,P88 snare strainer and matching butt plate.I got a great deal from Bax on this. I'm delighted to add this to my collection. Happy Drumming :)

Heerlijke snaredrum. Mijn absolute favoriet, en ik heb meerdere klassiekers in mijn bezit. Mooi gecontroleerd en gefocust geluid dat breed inzetbaar is.
