General
A masterpiece in brass: the Pearl Reference One Brass snare drum blends extreme responsiveness with powerful volume to complete one must-have pro-grade model. This is very literally the 'heavy metal' snare, where the pure brass walls measure a weighty 3 millimetres thick and the resulting shell comes pre-fitted with MasterCast tension hoops for extra control and even more volume. The SR-1000 Glide-Lock snare strainer has been finished with 'D'-profile Ultra-Sound snare wires that help conjure a refined and ultra-tunable response and fully support the enormous sonic statement piece that is the Reference One Brass.
