General

Bearing a mere 6-inch diameter and 3-inch depth, the mini shell of the Tama BST63MBK Metalworks Effect Series drum provides the perfect little side snare. Fitted with a tension-adjustable, half snare-mat on the underside of the batter head, this snare can be switched off and on just like any full-sized snare. And, just like all Metalworks Effect snares, this model comes finished with triple-flanged tension hoops and comes complete with an MC69 single tom mount for easy installation to a hi-hat or cymbal stand.

Wrote the following about Tama BST63MBK Metalworks Effect Series 6 x 3-inch Snare Drum

Na filmpje van Anika Nilles op 29/05 meteen verknocht en onmiddellijk besteld.
Vandaag, zoals altijd, keurig geleverd.
Heel pittig snaredrummetje. Klinkt heel droog en crispy met heel felle rimshots.
Je voelt spontaan het Steve Gadd met Fifty ways..... gevoel opkomen 😁
Snaren kunnen makkelijk geregeld worden en het on/off systeem werkt prima.
Met de MC69 tomholder multiklem en stemsleutel inbegrepen is dit een heel goede prijs-kwaliteit voor het geleverde.
Kortom, iemand die een pittige compacte sidesnare zoekt zowel bij drums als percussie opstelling EN houdt van hoge stemming zit hiermee gebeiteld. Ook met de snares off klinkt die een beetje als een hoge kleine rototom.
De combinatie met een 8” en 10” moet ook wel leuk zijn.
