Tama's LST158 is an S.L.P. Limited Edition Big Black Steel 15 x 8-inch snare drum. The steel shell is 1 mm thick and has 10-hole Steel Mighty Hoops. It's equipped with the MS20SN15S Starclassic Steel Carbon snare that has 20 wires. The LST158 comes with an Evans G1 Coated drumhead. All of this gives this snare drum its impressive sound that makes it suitable for heavier styles of music like alternative rock, hard rock and heavy metal.
