General

This Tama snare drum has a 14-inch diameter, a 5-inch depth and a total thickness of 6 mm. The shell is made of four plies of European birch for fast attack and a well-focused sound while two plies of walnut add extra warmth and a dose of power. Fitted with chromed lugs, die-cast hoops and Evans drum heads, this Starclassic snare features transparent lacquer on the inside and sports a striking exterior finish that Tama calls Phantasm Oyster.

Goede snaar, lekker warm geluid en genoeg klank om door de (harde muziek heen te snijden). Mooi gemaakt ding ook, alles in degelijk materiaal afgewerkt. Verwacht niet dat je er metal mee kunt spelen, want dan zal hij niet hard genoeg gaan.
