The WorldMax 14x5-inch Hammered Brass Shell has an extreme look but not an extreme price. The hammered brass shell makes this snare drum look like it came straight from the ground, but nothing could be further from the truth. This drum is brand new, and you can hear it. Due to the use of brass, the sound is warm yet present, making it easy to hear, especially in louder music genres. The hammer pattern makes this a bit more controlled and drier, making nuances like ghost notes easy to hear. Apart from that, of course, it is also just an eye-catcher.

14x5-inch Hammered Brass Shell hardware

All hardware on the 14x5-inch Hammered Brass Shell is chrome-plated for a modern look. The triple flanged tension edges provide a more open sound and are locked in place with ten tension bolts. Remo's included heads are easy to tune with the tuning spanner that comes with this snare drum. Also included is the twenty-string wide string mat, which is attached with strings to the S-9X string mechanism.
