Roland BT-1 Woodblock Trigger

With the BT-1 Trigger Pad, Roland introduces a practical, curved trigger, which can be easily added to any setup thanks to its compact shape and practical construction. The slightly curved shape ensures that the trigger can be mounted on a Roland V-Drums V-Pad, as well as on an acoustic drum, without having to make big adjustments to your setup. If you want to use the trigger in combination with an acoustic kit, you will have to add a digital interface, of course. Creating a hybrid drum kit by adding electronics has never been this easy!

Versatility

The Roland BT-1 is a great tool for controlling the sounds of a V-Drums sound module or SPD instrument. The playing surface offers a highly dynamic and accurate response. The trigger enables you to start or stop loops and songs as well. Additionally, the BT-1 can be used to turn effects on and off, to select sound banks, to enter a tempo (tap tempo), etc. There are numerous possibilities!

Construction

The Roland BT-1 has been designed to eliminate false triggering caused by surrounding drums. Consequently, you can safely mount the trigger on the rim of one of your drums. By means of the BT-1, electronic drummers can add additional triggers to their setup without having to purchase complete pads. In short, the Roland BT-1 is a fantastic, versatile addition to your electronic or acoustic drum kit. Its unique shape enables you to add it to any setup without having to make big adjustments. Large pads are no longer necessary: the BT-1 is all you need to expand the possibilities of your current drum kit.
