General

The C1412 snare wires were designed for use in an orchestral setting. As they only have 12 strands, the sound of the drum itself is not overpowered by the sound of the snare wires. Furthermore, their extended coil pattern gives them a deeper, drier sound. This special shape also enhances articulation and allows for a more subtle response, without hampering the shell's resonance. The PureSound C1412s are suited for 14-inch snare drums, and can be attached using either straps or cords.
