Sousaphones are related to tubas and helicons, but meant for use in marching bands. They're the large brass instruments you'll see curled around someone's neck during parades, often sporting the name of the marching band on its bell cover. However, even marching instruments will need to be transported to and from different performances. For anyone who plays this wonderful instrument (see specs for compatible models), SKB designed a sturdy case: the SKB 1SKB-380 sousaphone case.
Sousaphone Case: Features

So no need to fret - in this case, your instrument is as safe as can be! Another noteworthy feature is the addition of TSA-approved locks, although that will be most useful if you (or your corps) perform abroad. These locks will remain firmly shut for you or anyone else, while air traffic security can easily open them for inspection. Any case can undergo such an inspection, after all, but the TSA locks allow security to perform this inspection without the risk of damaging your suitcase.
