General
The LD Systems MAUI 44 is the largest active column PA system in its series with this flagship boasting a massive 1,600 Watts RMS output and a 129 dB SPL for some serious volume, without sacrificing clarity. The bandpass subwoofer with 2x 12-inch woofers and two Hypex modules make for a total of 16 speakers capable of delivering excellent sound quality. The MAUI 44 is characterised by tight, low bass, a well-balanced mid-range and sparkling high tones and is ideal for musicians, DJs, entertainers and fixed installations alike.
Simply Huge!
With an RCA input and two XLR-Jack combo inputs, LD Systems has fitted all the standard connectors on the MAUI 44 for your convenience. The same goes for the controls with independent master and subwoofer volume controls. Other controls and parameters such as a limiter, automatic EQ, compressor and a high-low crossover are taken care of by the internal LECC DSP. Setting up this LD Systems PA system is easy too since special multi-pin connectors allow you to effortlessly stack the Hypex modules on top of the subwoofer.
