General
The Devine Onyx 10 speaker system is plug-and-play and can be set up in various ways, including standalone or combined with a subwoofer, stands and mounting brackets. This bundle comes with two Devine Onyx 10 passive satellite speakers, a Devine MX-200 amplifier and two 5-metre-long SpeakON speaker cables. Bear in mind that you will need an external crossover or a speaker management system in order to combine this passive speaker system with a subwoofer system.

Ik vind het belangrijk dat een speakerkabel stevig is en soepel en dat de connectoren betrouwbaar zijn. Ik was verrast dat het OFC kabel is voor dit bedrag. De Bax tabel op de site geeft aan dat er over een lengte van 10m 1,5 mm 500 Watt vermogen kan. En dit zijn 5m lengtes. Dus lijkt mij het verlies echt te verwaarlozen en kun je er veel vermogen doorheen sturen (zat voor de meeste toepassingen lijkt mij).

Let wel op dit is 1,5 MM dus geen hele grote vermogens of lange afstanden, ik gebruik deze kabel voor een opstelling waar een band oefent, waar de speaker 4 meter van de versterker staat en er een laag aantal watt doorgaat. geen problemen ondervonden tot nu toe.

Petite enceinte en 10" + compression 1" (marqué 1" dans la documentation fournie, et non pas 1,35 comme indiqué sur le site) mais ça ne change rien en ce qui concerne sa sonorité égale de bien meilleurs marques d'enceinte reconnus, mais 2x à 4x plus cher en achat... !!!
Avec cette enceinte, vous en avez largement pour votre argent.
Elles sonnent déjà bien utilisée seule (large bande), mais si vous lui ajouté un caisson en 12" (c'est ce que j'ai dans ma configuration), le grave est alors bien présent, et le medium/aigu (filtrés, ou pas, dans ce cas par le caisson) de l'enceinte ressort tout simplement superbe.
La finition là aussi, est digne de grande marque, et le plastique de l'enceinte fait très "PRO".
À voir maintenant après quelques heures de rodage de l'enceinte si les performances s'améliorent encore un peu plus.
Je reviendrai plus tard vous en parler.

Overtreft mijn verwachtingen ruimschoots. De Onyx 10 inch geeft voor een paar euro meer dan de Artist een stuk meer power. Met de 5 bands equalizer van mijn powered mengpaneel is een mooi helder geluid eenvoudig te realiseren en ook de bass is verrassend goed voor een 10 inch. Je hebt echt geen subwoofer nodig. Snel en netjes geleverd door BAX.
