The company has moved with the times, however, and now offers the authentic Hammond sound even in their digital instruments. The SK1-73 stage keyboard features all the Hammond sounds you love, as well as various Leslie models and 37 highly realistic instrument presets. As such, this 73-key keyboard is perfect for live keyboard players who want both that fantastic Hammond sound and the more 'bread-and-butter' effects.
Hammond SK1-73: 2 x VASE III and Leslies
Purists may have their doubts about a digital, compact Hammond such as this one. However, those doubts are completely unfounded, as the two advanced VASE III sound generators offer 96 tone wheels, that can be meticulously tweaked through their 17 parameters. This way, every organist can enjoy the Hammond sound they've always dreamed of. Of course, key-click, voicing and vibrato are all adjustable. Furthermore, the Leslie simulation is of the utmost importance, and the SK1-73 features 8 different possible models that are so realistic they'll give you the chills when you play. From vintage Leslies to powerful rock models, it's got them all and they're fully adjustable.
Hi-Def Sounds and a 32-Voice Pipe Organ
Besides the authentic B-3 sound, the Hammond SK1-73 also offers 37 other instruments. From Yamaha grands to Rhodes, and from trumpets to synth sounds, this stage keyboard does it all. Moreover, all these Hi-Def sounds have been sampled and programmed with the greatest of care, so that they live up to any live band and recording setting. Last but not least, classically trained keyboard instrument players will enjoy the 32 ranks of church pipe organ. Zoek je een keyboard van hoogstaande kwaliteit voor hammond, piano, wurlitzer, rhodes etc. met de nadruk op hammond, kies dan absoluut deze.
Niks gaat boven een echte hammond, maar deze weegt 250 kilo minder dus ja;)

Ik heb dit keyboard ongeveer een jaar geleden aangeschaft.
Het eerste keyboard dat ik geleverd kreeg heb ik terug moeten sturen; één toets maakte een vervelend bijgeluid. Het product werd gratis retour genomen en bax-shop heeft mij een nieuw keyboard toegezonden. Deze heb ik inmiddels een jaar in gebruik.
Ondanks eerdere problemen concludeer ik toch dat ook deze Hammond tegen een stootje kan; heb met dit instrument meerdere optredens gedaan en nooit problemen gehad.
Ik ben uitermate tevreden over dit product met het authentieke hammond geluid dat mij kippenvel bezorgt. Vergeet niet een footswitch (een simpele aan/uit-schakelaar) mee te bestellen als je er nog geen hebt om de ingebouwde Leslie te kunnen bedienen.
