The Hammond SK1-88 is an instrument that jazz, rock and cover bands are all sure to appreciate. This 88-note stage keyboard is equipped with the powerful VASE III sound generator that can make 96 virtual tone wheels, just like the original Hammond organ from 1935 did. The VASE III engine in the SK1-88 produces the same sound in a digital way. It also includes Vox and Farfisa organs as well as 37 realistic instruments, a pipe organ, and a Music Player.
Hammond SK1-88: Stage-ready
This instrument was created to be played on stage. It has a full-length keyboard, and 88 semi-weighted keys for a comfortable playing feel and lots of room for dynamics. You can split the keyboard up to play multiple sounds at once (left and right). You've got 37 ultra-realistic sounds at your fingertips that range from Yamaha grand pianos to Rhodes, and there are even brass and synth sounds too! In short, the SKI-88 offers a sound for every occasion!
Organ editing
In terms of digital sound generation, you can adjust the Hammond sounds and the Leslie models any way you like using various parameters. From old and vintage to modern and shredding, anything is possible! The SK1-88 feels like an authentic Hammond when you're playing it thanks to Chorus Vibrato, velocity-sensitive 'perc' and, if desired, a hot Leslie! The drawbars look and feel familiar and any seasoned organist is sure to find their way around the SK1-88 in no time.

Hij is zeer solide en alle knoppen er drawbars voelen heel stevig aan.
De twee rode consoles geven een chique uitstraling.
Door het instrumenten menu wandelen is heel makkelijk en overzichtelijk.
Ook is het mogelijk om met de knop 'lower' een extra aangesloten keyboard of expander
via MIDI aan te sturen gebruikmakend met ' keyboard plit'
Handig is de directe oproep van de 10 user instelling die je zo kan oproepen.

De klank van deze machine in enorm, heel goed gesampelde pijporgels en piano's,
ook via de hoofdtelefoon klinkt dat geweldig.
Leuke bijkomstgheid is dat je op de website van Hammond gratis nog extra instrumenten
met de computer kun downloaden.
Deze bestanden kun je via een gewone USB stick aan de achterkant inpluggen en zo importeren.
Ook is mogelijk om alles wat je wilt bewaren, kan via deze USB stick.
Tip: in de handleiding staat ook met welke knop combinatie je zo weer naar de fabrieks
instelling kun gaan. (voor de reset).
Het is een absolute aanrader om deze machine eens bij de Baxshop te gaan bespelen.
Het geld zeer zeker waard!
