The Grandstage X is Korg's new flagship stage piano. This professional tool for gigging musicians features multiple sound engines and packs masses of potential. Beautifully streamlined in terms of both control and aesthetic design, the Grandstage X looks and feels just as awesome as it sounds.

The Korg Grandstage X

Korg have decked out the Grandstage X with no less than seven sound engines that you might recognise if you're familiar with Korg gear: the SGX-2 (acoustic piano), EP-1 (E-piano), AL-1 (virtual analogue), CX-3 (tonewheel organ), VOX Organ (transistor organ), FX-1 (transistor organ) and HD-1 ('bread-and-butter' samples). In total, the number of samples built into this ultra-professional stage piano amount to over 25GB (technically 51GB). Add that to the extensive effects section, EQ and integrated Nutube, and you've got literally everything you need to dial in the exact sound that the band needs.

Gig-Grade Housing

The Grandstage X boasts a robust housing with a rounded back that makes it more comfortable to lug around. That said, the whole thing weighs 25 kg, so getting a matching case is probably a better idea. Korg have thoughtfully mounted XLR outputs round the back and include a music rest, a sustain pedal and a nice stack of software.
