NUX PT-10 Pedal Tuner chromatisch tuner for electric guitar and bass guitar

General

The XVive PT10 is a pedal-style chromatic tuner for guitarists and bassists who want to tune quickly and accurately during rehearsals, studio recordings and gigs. Thanks to the clear LED display, you can read the tuning effortlessly, even on dark stages or in bright light. The footswitch turns the tuner on and immediately activates the mute function: your output signal is muted so you can tune silently without the audience or the PA hearing you.

Switchable: True Bypass or Buffered Bypass

A major advantage is that you can choose between True Bypass and Buffered Bypass. True Bypass allows your signal to pass through as pure as possible when the tuner is off, ideal for a compact setup and maximum sound integrity. If you’re using longer cables or a larger pedalboard, Buffered Bypass is often the better choice: the signal remains more stable and you minimise the loss of high frequencies. This means you not only tune accurately, but your sound also remains consistent in any situation.

Accurate and pedalboard-proof

Performance-wise, it’s spot on: the PT10 operates chromatically with a detection range from A0 to C8 and tunes with an accuracy of ±1 cent. The reference pitch (A4) is adjustable from 430 to 450 Hz (default 440 Hz), which is useful when playing in non-standard tunings or with ensembles. The casing is designed for stage use and its compact size fits easily onto most pedalboards. Power is supplied via an (optional) 9–12V DC adaptor with centre-negative polarity.
