The D'Angelico Excel Gramercy effortlessly translates its ravishing design details to sublime sound. With a body made up of a solid spruce top and ebony back and sides, the result is acutely bright sound with pleasantly lingering resonance and, since this electro-acoustic guitar is fitted with special scalloped X-bracing, you needn't fear any lack of warmth in the mid range. To raise playing ease to more-than-agreeable levels, D'Angelico has created a cutaway for full access to all solo-essential high notes while the amplified sound is taken care of by the built-in Fishman Presys preamp with integrated tuner. As a practical extra, D'Angelico throw in a matching case with this lightweight orchestra model.
