General

The Guild OM-240CE Westerly is an electro-acoustic steel-string guitar with a natural finish. The Triple O body features a cutaway which makes even the highest frets easily accessible. The top is made of solid Canadian Sitka spruce which is not only lightweight, its high density gives this instrument an exceptionally rich sound. The back and sides of this gorgeous guitar are made of solid mahogany.

Guild OM-240CE Natural Westerly with 'arched back'

This model features an arched back which is one of the things that helped to make this American guitar manufacturer famous back in the 1950's. That means you can expect better sound projection and more volume than you'd normally get from a guitar model of this size. The sound is warm and bright, even when amplified through the AP-1 preamplifier.

Guild Westerly Collection

Guild have been building high-quality instruments since 1953, and their acoustic guitars hark back to earlier, vintage models. Each of the steel-string guitars in their Westerly series feature solid woods and are equipped with a number of tasteful, luxurious details. What's more, the headstock is adorned with a traditional pearloid Guild emblem inlay and all of the guitars feature a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard. The Westerly series offers top-quality acoustic guitars at an attractive price and some models even come with a compatible Guild Polyfoam case.

Bax Music Warranty This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

Guild OM-240CE Natural Westerly electro-acoustic steel-string guitar

Guild OM-240CE Natural Westerly electro-acoustic steel-string guitar

I first saw this guitar at BAX a month ago.
I played it along with several others and left that day.
Since then, I've shopped and tried a dozen different guitars of various brands...
I came back last week and ordered the Guild OM 240 CE.
The guitar arrived in a factory fresh box, the sales person unboxed it and tuned a string or two... the rest were still in tune..
After being able to take my time and ask some more questions I decided it was the right one for me....
It's home with me now...... :)))
Bax had the best price and the guitar arrived in less than a week....

Guild OM-240CE Natural Westerly electro-acoustic steel-string guitar

Guild OM-240CE Natural Westerly electro-acoustic steel-string guitar

Guild OM-240CE Natural Westerly electro-acoustic steel-string guitar
