General

Fender's new F series of acoustic guitars are based on models from the '70s. This F-1000 Dreadnought is an affordable new version of a Fender classic. It has a characteristic large '70s headstock and a Viking-style bridge made of rosewood. This steel-string acoustic guitar has a beautiful finish with a high-gloss lacquer and elegant wooden inlays. It's a perfect choice for beginners as well as more advanced players.

Fender F-1000: construction and finish

The F-1000 has a body made of mahogany with a spruce top that combines with the Dreadnought shape to produce a sound that is loud, full and warm. Its comfortable C profile neck is also made of mahogany and features a rosewood fretboard with 20 frets. The 'F' inlay at the 12^th fret and the inlaid Fender logo on the headstock are both made of maple.

It's the little things...

It's the little things that take this affordable steel-string guitar model to the next level compared to the competition. For instance, the string nut and the bridge saddle are both made of GraphTech Nubone, a synthetic material that is very similar to bone. The sound hole rosette is a wooden inlay and the F-1000 features cream-white bridge pins and aged chrome machine heads to complete its vintage look.
