Where the S6 Original has a cedar top, this model has a solid spruce top. The difference in wood means that this guitar has a brighter, fresher sound than the predominantly warm cedar. Just like the original though, the sides and back are made of laminated 3-ply Canadian wild cherry wood. The Silver Leaf maple neck is expertly finished for a supple feel and topped with a 21-fret rosewood fretboard with white position markers.
