General
With the SDR-28S, Sigma Guitars bring an all-solid D-12 acoustic guitar into the Custom Series fold. The combination of a solid spruce soundboard and a rosewood body guarantees lush acoustic depth and naturally flexible tone. The 44.5mm bone nut has been widened a touch to enhance accuracy when grabbing complex chords and fully sets up this model to support finger-picking as well as strumming techniques.
The Sigma Guitars Custom SDR-28S: Refined Detail
The Sigma Guitars SDR-28S has been given a full coat of high-gloss varnish that's then been rubbed down with ageing toner to complete a subtle and refined finish. Smaller features like the slotted headstock, open-gear Grover machine heads, and the dark ebony fretboard further contribute to the deluxe detailing that this acoustic guitar bears. To keep this model in mint condition, it comes complete with an SSC-D softshell case.

I've had a sigma SDR28s for a couple of years - bought initially whilst my Martin D28 awaited repairs to the soundboard. The Sigma has been a revelation. The quality of materials and workmanship is as good as my Martin. It's a beautiful instrument with a strong and balanced tone. The herringbone purfling is beautifully executed. It's a keeper and will be at its best long after I am gone! Highly recommended.
