General
The Pirastro Oliv string set for cello is a handmade set of sheepskin gut strings, known for its brilliant and complex sound. The strings are carefully wound and polished using traditional methods, ensuring a warm sound with great tonal volume and easy response. The set consists of four strings: A, D, G and C, and is available in the medium size for 4/4 cellos. The A string has a ball end, while the D, G and C strings have a knot. Oliv strings are available in three tensions, with a 4% change in tension with each 1/2 PM change in thickness.
