The Pirastro Permanent string set for cello is an excellent choice for both classical and electrically amplified cellos. The A and D strings have a single filament core of high strength steel and are wound with chromium steel for a brilliant and clear sound. The G and C strings have a stainless steel core wound with tungsten, delivering a warm, powerful tone with a short decay. This makes them particularly suitable for musicians looking for a quick response and exceptional tuning stability. Available in medium size, this set is also suitable for electrically amplified cellos.
