General

Designed for orchestral use, the Pirastro Flexocor string set for double bass delivers a warm sound with a short sustain. The string material has a wire core of high-strength carbon steel wrapped with chromium steel, which ensures a quick response, especially when playing with the bow (arco). The strings are instantly playable and offer excellent stability. This set is available in different tensions, allowing the bass player to tune the instrument to his/her liking. Suitable for double basses of various sizes, from 1/8 to 5/4.
