The Pirastro Passione string set for double bass is designed for musicians looking for a rich, warm sound with a complex overtone. Thanks to the rope core of carbon steel wound with chromium steel, this set offers excellent tone projection and powerful volume. The Passione strings are ideally suited for arco, with an immediate response and clear distinction between notes in fast passages. They offer excellent flexibility and a short sustain for quick dynamic response. The strings are available in several variations, including solo tuning and orchestral tuning.
