The Pirastro Obligato string set for double bass is ideal for orchestral players who use both arco and pizzicato. The strings have a modern synthetic core wound with chromium steel, providing a clear, brilliant and well-focused sound. The set has a quick response and a unique "growly" sound, especially on the E string. They are perfectly balanced and insensitive to temperature and humidity changes, ensuring consistent performance in different environments.
