The AIAIAI TMA-2 Studio Preset headphones are part of a new series of modular headphones; you can compose your own custom model by selecting various available headbands, earpieces, ear pads and cables. This Preset model has been composed for you, with studio use in mind. For clear audio reproduction, the 40mm drivers were titanium-coated, ensuring a full, rich sound. Thanks to a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, you'll be able to enjoy virtually any music style in minute detail. Finally, the headphones' closed design guarantees excellent sound isolation.

Perfect.

Ik heb heel lang getwijfeld om de hoofdtelefoon aan te kopen, de review van bax-shop op youtube en die van attackmagazine hebben me overhaald.

Ik gebruik hem om te producen van elektronische muziek en om muziek te luisteren.

Ik heb deze hoofdtelefoon nu 2 weken in bezit en dit zijn mijn ervaringen:
- De hoofdtelefoon zit verpakt in een mooie doos, je moet de hoofdtelefoon vervolgens zelf in elkaar steken wat ik best prettig vond.
-Toen ik hem voor het eerst opzette was het geluid nog vrij donker, zeg maar. Toen zag ik er een briefje opplakken waarop stond dat je hem 24u moest laten inspelen op gematigd volume. Dit heb ik dan gedaan. Sinds dan klinkt de hoofdtelefoon heel goed.
Het geluid is heel neutraal, gebalanceerd, gedetailleerd. Een tikkeltje geboost aan de low end.
- De earcups die in deze preset zitten, zitten heel comfortabel. Hier ben ik zeer tevreden van. Na 4-5 uur begon ik wel pijn te voelen aan mijn oren.
- Je kan kiezen of je de aux kabel in de linkse of in de rechtse earcup steekt, dit vind ik zelf heel handig want men pc staat links, maar als ik muziek luister on the go, steek ik hem rechts :).
- Geluidsisolatie: Deze is degelijk.
- Gewicht: Je voelt amper dat je hem aan hebt, hij is heel licht van gewicht!
- Design: Ik vind het design er super strak uitzien, ik was blij dat er eindelijk een degelijke studio hoofdtelefoon op de markt was met een goed uitzicht. (En dat de audio kwaliteit hier niet voor moet onder doen zeg maar.)
- Kabel: De kabel is best lang, maar zeker niet overdreven lang. Perfect voor thuis, iets minder voor on the go (maar dit neem ik niet op als een minpunt want het is een studiohoofdtelefoon). Hij is ook zeer robuust, iets dikker dan de gewoonlijke aux kabel. Ik heb het gevoel dat deze niet rap zal slijten.
(- Wat ik ook fijn vind aan deze hoofdtelefoon is dat je langs de buitenkant nergens het logo kan terugvinden, enkel aan de binnenkant van de hoofdband.)
- Elk onderdeel dat kapot zou gaan, kan vervangen worden en dit vind ik persoonlijk een zeer handige feature.
- Vingerafdrukken zijn niet heel merkbaar, maar als je vettige/zweet handen hebt kan je ze er wel op terug vinden.

Conclusie:
Een zeer goede hoofdtelefoon, die je stuk voor stuk kan vervangen/aanpassen, met een uitstekende geluidskwaliteit. Het design is ook erg knap.
