Supported by highly advanced, patented Varimotion 30mm XXL transducers, these headphones pack sublime sound - even when used to lay down and kick back to listen to your most-loved tracks. A huge dynamic range and detailed, transparent audio are a given here, guaranteed by a semi-open design that counters internal resonance and offers a vast low-end range and bright, lush trebles.
The K240 Studio: Delightfully Comfortable
The over-ear pads are made of soft-padded leather and cover your ears completely for optimum comfort and sound isolation., while the headband automatically adjusts itself to the shape of your head for a perfect fit. To finish, AKG thoughtfully include a jack adapter with the K240s, as well as a spare mini-XLR cable to make sure you're immediately set up with a replacement cable just in case.
Tips or comments about this product- Please note: Due to the nominal impedance of 55 Ohms, these headphones won't work with every device.

Purchased these AKG K240 studio headphones, very nice looking and feeling, well made and lightweight.wasn't too sure about the sound at 1st as I was used to listening on another high fidelity set of phones which are very bright with crispy trebles. I have to say after about a week listening to the AKG's they sound fantastic, every instrument sounds so natural, music comes alive, more detail in everything, soundstage is nice and wide as they are semi open, leak sound a lot so best for home use not in public places.After about 20 or so hours use I noticed a change in sound quality as I was listening to a Flac file, don't worry, it was for the good, The base appeared more, the mids opened more and the trebles became brighter and everything just sounds so natural. I use them with my LG V10 on poweramp with the hifi dad listening to high res Flac and 16 bit Flac files, it is a match made in heaven, Recommend these headphones without any doubt especially at the price point today.

De AKG K240 is perfect voor thuis oefenen. Ik gebruik hem om te spelen zonder dat de buren last van me hebben, en het geluid blijft helder en gedetailleerd, zelfs bij lagere volumes.
Hij is comfortabel genoeg om lange sessies mee te doen zonder ongemak. Hij biedt een goede balans tussen lage en hoge tonen, waardoor mijn basgitaar natuurlijk klinkt.
Een goede keuze voor muzikanten die in stilte willen oefenen zonder in te leveren op geluidskwaliteit.
Hij is comfortabel genoeg om lange sessies mee te doen zonder ongemak. Hij biedt een goede balans tussen lage en hoge tonen, waardoor mijn basgitaar natuurlijk klinkt.

ik had me al een beetje ingelezen voor ik deze koptelefoon kocht. En eigenlijk klopt alles wel wat hieronder staat beschreven.. Grote plus is absoluut het draagcomfort. Het is een lichte uitvoering en toch degelijke uitvoering. Als je een stevige bas lekker vind gaat deze tegenvallen. het is een zeer helder maar redelijk vlak geluid. En de volumeknop moet omhoog, geluid is flink wat zachter als wat ik gewend ben.

Erg goede koptelefoon. Je krijgt heel veel voor de prijs dat je betaald. Comfortabel design en de koptelefoon geeft het geluid goed weer. Normaal gesproken ben ik niet zo'n fan van muziek produceren en mixen met een koptelefoon, maar wanneer je gewend bent aan het geluid kun je hier prima mee mixen.
Ik ben erg te spreken van dit product. Het is ook niet gek dat deze koptelefoon zo'n ruim 30 jaar geproduceerd en verkocht wordt

Fijne lichte en stabiele koptelefoon. Rustig en neutraal geluid. AKG is inmiddels overgenomen door Austrian Audio. Maar gelukkig blijven ze de budget AKG producten nog ondersteunen. Austrian Audio maakt overigens ook hele goede koptelefoons.

I've had this headphone a long time ago, back in Brazil. Sold it to a friend because I was not using and I was moving to the Netherlands. zeer terecht dat AKG deze 240 al jarenlang in zijn assortiment heeft zitten. Ik hoef geen dreunende bassen aan mijn kop, wel een muzikale en transparante weergave van het geluid. En dat is nu exact wat deze AKG doet. Prima draagcomfort, mooi design en goede bouwkwaliteit. Nu ruim een jaar in gebruik en geen seconde spijt van de aanschaf. De prijs is, voor wat er geboden wordt, echt een lachertje. En dat in positieve zin......
