AKG's WMS 40 Pro series has long-since made its mark, just like the WMS 45 Pro. The WMS 40 Mini is a more compact version of these wireless mic systems. It features the same HDAP technology which ensures a true HD experience in a wireless system. The HDAP technology guarantees high-quality, natural sound.
AKG WMS40 Mini: Crazy Compact
The AKG WMS40 Mini is really very compact - it's a third smaller than the ordinary WMS receivers. Despite this impressive fact, the receiver is still fitted with a balanced output, three status LEDs and a volume knob for the output signal. The handheld is also smaller, but it's size hasn't been reduced as significantly as that of the receiver, because this would negatively impact the comfortable grip of the mic.

Wij hadden reeds enkele microfoons in gebruik van dit model en die bevallen zo goed, dat we er nog een hebben gekocht voor als er een extra microfoon nodig is. De prijs is best scherp te noemen en de set is uitstekend verpakt. Het geluid en het bereik zijn zonder meer goed. Een van de exemplaren die we al minstens 5 jaar in gebruik hadden, ging wat haperen bij het aanzetten, maar met een beetje contactspray was dat opgelost. Een aanrader.

Fijne microfoon, goed geluid, zingt niet snel rond op de zaal speakers.
Bereik is prima, en dat zonder storingen.
Microfoon ligt fijn in de hand, met een standaard AA baterij, en compacte ontvanger.

Très bon produit, je suis entièrement satisfait pour mon utilisation (DJ/sono/animation).
Le boitier à l'air costaud avec son assemblage métal/plastique.
Cependant, le micro qui lui est entièrement en plastique est moins solide. Attention à l'usage donc.

Op zich een goede microfoon voor deze prijs. Praten tijdens achtergrondmuziek is prima te doen maar niet te dicht in de buurt van de speakers komen want dan gaat hij rondzingen wat geen prettig geluid is. Voor speakers blijft het geluid stabiel. Indien de muziek boven de 90 dBA uitkomt is deze microfoon niet meer te gebruiken omdat de muziek dan gaat rondzingen (met name de bas). Als zangmicrofoon dan ook niet aan te bevelen. Voor de doeleinden waar ik het voor nodig heb, zoals wat aankondigingen, prima te doen. De AKG microfoon doet zijn ding. Voor een goede zang microfoon betaal je ruim het 10 voudige maar dat is appels met peren vergelijken.

ik heb deze microfoon ongeveer 2 weken geleden aangeschaft en een paar keer kunnen gebruiken.
geluid bevalt me zeker. ik gebruik hem nu in combinatie met een compressor effect pedaal voor compressie van geluid. dit komt vooral goed van pas met harde uithaal momenten.
over het bereik kan ik weinig zeggen. ik heb nog niet echt op een grotere afstand de microfoon gebruikt.
het enige minpunt vind ik is het ontbreken van een XLR aansluiting.
verder ook heel fijn dat de microfoon op slecht 1 AA batterij werkt. dit maakt het gemakkelijker om aan batterijen te komen in een noodsituatie. plus een AA batterijtje kan je zo gemakkelijk extra meenemen. makkelijker dan een 9V blokje
