General
Audio Technica's ATH-M30 have a successor: the ATH-M30x. The X seems to stand for eXtra: great isolation, improved audio and a new design (the cups have been made flatter for increased sound isolation). These headphones have been fitted with new magnets and aluminium voice coils and if you prefer one of the other models from the M series - these have all been upgraded, so you can also go for the ATH-M20, ATH-M40 and ATH-M50.
40mm Drivers
With the M30x headphones you can enjoy excellent, accurate audio quality. The 40mm drivers ensure an excellent bass response and thanks to the circumaural earpieces, great audio isolation is ensured. These versatile headphones really come into their own during mixing and recording sessions. Furthermore, they have an adjustable and collapsible headband and one-sided cable output with a fixed cable of 3 metres.
