Headphones with a higher impedance will not deliver enough volume when connected to the equipment listed above! The impedance of any headphones isn't just a random number. The impedance level basically dictates the equipment you can plug the headphones into. Plugging a set of high impedance headphones into a weak preamp results in really low volume and maybe even distorted sound. The beauty of the 32 Ohm DT 770 headphones is that they've been specially configured for portable gear like smartphones, tablets and computers, which have a much weaker and lower sound output than studio equipment or more advanced preamps. Technology & Construction

When it comes to the frequency range, we're looking at some impressive numbers: 5 to 35,000Hz to be exact - which literally covers everything. To support better sound isolation on the street, the 32 Ohm editions do have different ear cushions than the higher impedance editions. This slight design difference means that ambient noise is dampened by around 20dBA. That's 2 decibels more than the other DT 770 Pro headphones. While the snug set of black faux-leather ear cushions are tear-resistant, and every component of these headphones features a durable build, every part can be replaced - if you need to. And, since these headphones are designed for mobile use, they come with a shorter and more practical 160cm long straight cable.
