Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250-ohm dynamic studio headphones

These headphones are amazing. i spend long hours during the night having to use headphones for composing music when the kids are in bed and these are the comfiest things iv ever had on my head. One MAJOR win for these headphones is a much lesser degree of fatigue on the ears as well as physical pressure on the face. The open back design clearly allows you to chat to the person in the room without taking them off, and Im quite convinced that since they are open back, the sound pressure levels (SPL's) are less, and i think this is what has helped me go do a nights work and not feel like s**t afterwards with dodgy ears and a sore jaw. Ill say it again, these are by far the comfiest things iv ever listened to music on and cant recommend them highly enough.
one thing though, id recommend using a headphone amp or similair for these. I use the ART4 headphone amp and i usually have the volume set to around 4 and thats a good volume. plug them into your phone however and they will be a little quiet. still good but youll find youll have the volume high
