Sennheiser's HD 300 PROtect monitoring headphones are made for use in the studio and on stage. As their name suggests, they feature a built-in ActiveGard limiter to protect your ears from loud noise peaks. They're designed to effectively keep out ambient noise leaving you with nothing but accurate, distortion-free sound. They're also extremely comfortable to wear and are highly robust. In the event that any parts needs replacing after many years of heavy use, it's good to know that's possible.

heel goed geluid, maar mij oorschelpen zijn reeds stuk,, alle 2 na 6 maanden,,dus pro brol.

Een bijzonder goede studio koptelefoon. Een helder goed gebalanceerd geluid en uitstekend draagcomfort. Maar wat deze koptelefoon uniek en bijzonder maakt is de limiter, die maakt dat je niet opeens je oren overbelast. Juist in een studio loop je het risico dat een instrument opeens veel te hard staat, met als gevolg oorschade, iets wat je als muziek liefhebber en muziek professional niet wil hebben. Deze limiter voorkomt dat en begrenst het geluid op 110 dB, nog steeds veel, maar dit niveau veroorzaakt geen schade. Ik begrijp niet dat niet alle studio koptelefoons hiermee zijn uitgerust. Het zou standaard moeten zijn. Fijn in ieder gavel dat Sennheiser er een heeft :-)

The new Sennheiser HMD 300 PRO and HMD 301 PRO broadcast headsets follow on from the HMD 280 PRO and HMD 281 PRO respectively. A new addition to both models is the ActiveGard limiter that protects your ears from loud noise peaks. The HMD 300 XQ-2 is another new model that comes with a cable included. Sennheiser's professional over-ear monitoring headphones have been given a facelift too with the HD 300 PRO and HD 300 PROtect taking over from the HD 380 PRO. As its name suggests, the PROtect version also features the ActiveGard limiter.
