It was KRK founder Keith R. Klawitter who developed the NEKKST K6 active studio monitors especially for Behringer. It offers accurate, detailed audio and waveguide technology in the 150-watt bi-amp for precise reproduction and a wide sweet spot. A wide frequency range is audible thanks to the 6-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter, which is perfect for mixing mainstream music. Bi-amplification with the NEKKST K6

The Behringer K6 delivers 150 watts to the drivers by means of two separate amplifiers. This results in high-resolution audio so the best of your music really shines through. Behringer have chosen to use an active crossover in the NEKKST series that separates the high and low frequencies for even greater accuracy, and so that the woofer and tweeter receive the correct frequencies only. Both drivers are able to do their jobs more effectively and, as a result, deliver better sound. The fibreglass woofer and silk-dome tweeter combined with the two amplifiers provide audio with a tight, deep bass, clear high, and well-defined mid range.

Adjusting your sound to the acoustics of the room

The NEKKST series monitors have a variety of controls for optimal adjustment. Adjust the high and low frequency response and use the 'room compensation' button to adjust the monitors according to the acoustic properties of your studio. If the monitors are close to a wall or in the corner, they will deliver a different response as a result of audio reflections in the room than if they're set up in the middle of the room, for instance. Adjust each monitor to perfection using the controls on the rear of this set of K6 monitors.
