General
The JBL LSR305 is an active studio monitor with separate amplifiers for bass and treble, making it a highly efficient speaker with impressive low and sparkling high frequencies. Its tweeter (for the trebles) is mounted to an Image Control Waveguide - a special shape that ensures that the sound on the place of listening is natural and defined. This Waveguide was developed for JBL's M2 monitors and is now for the first time applied to a financially more attainable version. The JBL LSR305 has a sleek, functional design that'll fit right into any home or professional studio.
Grand sound
A bass reflex port on the rear of this speaker also has a special shape to ensure a deep bass response together with the woofer. It does so at any volume, giving you consistent low frequencies. The LSR305 is equipped with a 5-inch woofer for low and a 1-inch tweeter for high frequencies. On the back there's a balanced XLR as well as a 6.35mm jack connector, which allow you to connect this active monitor to virtually any audio source. The switch on the back allows you to adjust the input sensitivity so you can also use source devices with a high or a low gain without damaging the speaker. Lastly, the rear of the monitor speaker is home to a trim switch that enables you to adjust its overall timbre, letting you adjust it to the acoustics of the room and the type of music you're working on / listening to.
