Their legendary LSR305 has now been replaced by a worthy successor, the 305P MK2 active studio monitor, which is sure to pave the path to your audio success. This speaker is a true workhorse for professional applications like music studios, post production purposes, film, broadcasting and more.

Features of the JBL 305P MK2

As well as its tonal qualities, the JBL has two important features that really make it stand out. First of all, it offers an audio dispersion of 120 x 90 degrees, and the sweet spot is easy to find, making it very practical to use. Secondly, it boasts magnetic shielding, which protects it from other interference caused by other magnetic equipment in the vicinity.

Sound and Use

The most important aspect of this monitor is of course the sound. It offers a deep bass and the crossover between the woofer and the tweeter is virtually inaudible. On the rear, there are XLR and TRS inputs, and the sound can be adjusted to compensate for the acoustics of the room, if need be.
